Our first presentation, January 28

Human Trafficking is not just something that happens in other countries. Also known as Modern-Day Slavery, Human Trafficking is a heinous crime that is happening right now in our very own state and country.

Every year traffickers generate billions of dollars in profits by forcing or coercing U.S. citizens and foreign nationals to provide labor (in domestic servitude, labor operations, or in service industries), or to provide commercial sex in hotels, brothels, and on the street. It threatens the freedom, health and lives of some of our most vulnerable citizens and the well being of our community.

Please help stop human trafficking. Join SlaveFree Madison and our co-sponsor, the Sequoya Branch Library, for a very important one-hour presentation about what Human Trafficking really is, where it is happening, how we can recognize it, and what we can do about it.
