January is state and national Human Trafficking Awareness and Prevention Month. SlaveFree Madison is reaching out to all community members to stand in opposition to the shameful human trafficking that occurs every day in Madison and beyond. To that end, SlaveFree Madison is hosting a number of public education and awareness events during the month. We hope to see you at some of them!
SlaveFree Madison Educational Session
Madison Police Officer Norra Prohaska will describe how she mines arrest, charging and conviction data to identify possible human trafficking perpetrators. This program precedes the January SlaveFree Madison meeting.
